CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Raymond Vucetic serves as Chief Executive Officer for Summit Medical Center. Mr. Vucetic joined SMC in October 2019. He is accountable for leading the operations and strategic growth for SMC.
Vucetic came to us from the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. Over the last 20 years of his healthcare career, he most recently served as an Administrator in the Heart and Vascular Institute. In this role, he directed surgical operating practices, at the main campus and across five regional hospitals. He focused on business development, service line growth, marketing, physician relationships, patient and employee satisfaction. His past work experience in a large hospital system will provide SMC with new and innovated ways to succeed in the current healthcare environment.
Vucetic holds a master’s degree in Business Administration specializing in Healthcare Administration from Cleveland State University. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Service Administration from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio.
Raymond enjoys the outdoors and is looking forward to spending time in Wyoming and being a part of the Summit Medical Center team.
DAVID BAXTER, M.D.
CHIEF OF STAFF
David Baxter, M.D., a cardiothoracic anesthesiologist, is an active medical staff member at Casper Orthopaedic Associates. Dr. Baxter is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the American Medical Association. Dr. Baxter received his medical degree from University of Nebraska Medical Center. He received his certification from the American Board of Anesthesiology and holds medical licenses in Wyoming and Nebraska.
CHIEF OPERATIONS OFFICER
Mindi Pile is the Chief Operations Officer for Summit Medical Center. Mindi is a native of Wyoming and she loves all that Casper has to offer from hiking and backpacking to snowshoeing and skiing. She attended Casper College, obtaining associates in both Business Administration and Pre-Law. She received her Bachelors of Science on Human Resources from Capella University in 2014. She is a current member of the Society of Human Resource Managers serving in several board positions most recently as President Elect.
Mindi joined Summit in October of 2014 prior to the opening of the facility as their Human Resources Manager where she worked to develop a passionate healthcare team. In her newest roll as COO, she is responsible for the development of ancillary services; assists in day to day operations; and leading the team at Summit through collaboration and hands on leadership. Prior to working for Summit, Mindi worked 17 years in Human Resources Management in various industries, which has gave her a strong understanding of the operations, leadership and opportunities for improvement within an organization.
CHIEF NURSING OFFICER
Heather Jones, RN, BSN, is a Wyoming native. Heather grew up in Riverton and has lived in Casper for over 15 years. She graduated from nursing school in 2003 from Central Wyoming College. She earned her BSN in 2018 from Western Governors University and is currently enrolled in the MSN Nursing Leadership program at WGU. She has served Summit Medical Center since 2017. Prior to serving as CNO, she served SMC as Inpatient Case Manager, Utilization Review RN, Inpatient Manager, and Clinical Informatics RN. She has 22 years of healthcare experience, spanning from emergency patient care to administration. She has been in healthcare leadership for over 15 years. Heather works to develop future leaders in nursing by fostering autonomy, empowerment and accountability in front line nurses. As the nursing leader, she strives to build and strengthen a professional, collaborative, and patient-focused practice environment by providing a trusting and supportive work environment.
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Jessica Harris serves as Summit Medical Center’s Chief Financial Officer. Jessica was born and raised in Wyoming. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from the University of California- San Diego prior to serving in the United States Navy as a Nuclear Trained Surface Warfare Officer. Jessica received her commission in 2003 and immediately reported to the USS Momsen (DDG 92), where she served as the ship’s first Communications Officer until 2005. Jessica also served onboard the USS Enterprise (CVN-65), as the Number Three Plant Machinery Division Officer from 2007 to 2009.
After starting her family, Jessica’s career path changed course. Jessica completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting in 2014 and a Masters of Business Administration – Finance and Accounting in 2018 at Regis University. Jessica spent two years with a local public accounting firm prior to joining the finance team at Mountain View Regional Hospital in 2016. Jessica served in various leadership roles at Mountain View and at Wyoming Medical Center, prior to joining the team at Summit Medical Center in April of 2019. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, her pets, traveling, the outdoors and crafting.
