Summit Medical Center is proud to celebrate its first National Hospital Week as Casper’s newest hospital. Designated by the American Hospital Association for May 10-16, National Hospital Week has added significance for the city of Casper and surrounding communities now that Summit Medical Center has opened its doors and is accepting patients.
The staff at Summit Medical Center is the lifeblood that makes this facility truly special,
said Dennis Jack, CEO, Summit Medical Center. “Their dedication to the health and overall well
being of our community is why we celebrate our team this week and all year long.”
For one week every year, every physician, staff member and individual that contributes to the
care and safety of hospital patients is celebrated for the dedication and hard work he or she
puts forth every day. That same teamwork that is essential in running the day-to-day operations
within a hospital setting also played a vital role in the planning, building and opening of Summit
Medical Center.
To celebrate National Hospital Week and the opening of Summit Medical Center, the staff is
enjoying a week full of activities, food and prizes. In turn, at the conclusion of the week, many
staff members will give back to the community by volunteering at the Platte River Trails Spring
Cleanup, taking place on Saturday, May 16.
National Hospital Week is the ideal time to celebrate Summit Medical Center’s recent opening
and their continued dedication to working together in bringing the community quality,
compassionate care at a cost they can afford.
