Summit Medical Center has announced Dennis Jack will serve as the hospital’s chief executive officer. The first CEO of Casper’s newest hospital brings a wealth of experience to the community and surrounding areas.
Jack previously served as an administrator and CEO for multiple healthcare facilities focused on inpatient and outpatient services. He has experience in identifying care needs within communities and has been a guiding force in the ground-up development of numerous new facilities, including hospitals for psychology, rehabilitation and acute care.
“Dennis Jack is an innovative leader who will bring thoughtful direction and the executive support necessary to manage our new hospital,” said Joseph Vigneri, MD,
founding physician at Summit Medical Center. “Dennis has an innate ability to assess patient needs and then find a solution to address those needs. Our team is thrilled to welcome him aboard.”
In his role as CEO, Jack will help the new hospital’s founding doctors deliver cost-competitive, high-quality medical care and superior patient service to Casper area residents.
“As CEO of Summit Medical Center, I will maintain my focus on identifying and meeting the community’s healthcare needs,” said Jack. “It is my goal to help Summit Medical Center not only become a part of the community, but a place where patients are comfortable and confident they will obtain the care they need.”
Before joining Summit Medical Center, Jack led clinical and nonclinical teams in both urban and rural settings. He previously served in a leadership capacity at Amarillo Pathology Group, Golden Plains Community Hospital and Shelby Regional Medical Center. Throughout his diverse healthcare career, Jack says he has developed respect for hospital operations in rural communities.
“I’ve spent my career focused on recruiting quality staff for local hospitals and helping small towns build a sense of community,” said Jack. “I think my affinity for rural communities stems from growing up in a small town myself.”
Jack began working with Summit Medical Center in early fall 2014 after relocating to Wyoming from Texas. To learn more about Summit Medical Center visit www.wysmc2.wpengine.com.
